Competition Terms and Conditions

No purchase necessary. Only one entry per person is permitted.

The closing date for the prize is December 8, 2006. Entries received after this date will not be accepted.

All 'refer a friend' emails will automatically be copied to the youtellus@cheapflights.com email address so Cheapflights can track how many people you have referred. If you remove the address from your email, you will only be entered into the competition once.

The prize:

The prize is two (2) return flights to St. Kitts in the Caribbean

Accommodation and transfers to and from the airports are not included. The prize winners will be responsible for paying for and providing their airport transfers, visas, passports, taxes, charges, fees, surcharges and insurance requirements (the amounts of which are subject to change). They will also be responsible for booking their own accommodation.

The prize winner must be one of the passengers flying. The prize winner may choose an accompanying travel partner. Both travellers must fly on the same outward and return flights. If the prize winner does not choose an accompanying travel partner, the other ticket will be forfeited.

All tickets must be booked 30 days prior to departure and are subject to availability.

Travel must be completed by November 30, 2007 and must not incorporate any school or public holidays (Christmas, half-term, Easter or summer holidays)

Winners must accept their prize by email or letter within seven (7) days of notification. In the event of non-acceptance within the specified period, XL Airways reserves the right to reallocate the prize awarded.

A full list of prize winners will be made available from XL Airways upon request by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to the registered office (appearing below). Additionally, prize winners' names will be displayed on the website (www.XL.com).

The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be substituted for any other prize or cash value.

XL Airways is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any materials relating to this promotion; fraudulent, lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or altered entries; or transactions which are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. XL Airways reserves the right to cancel or modify this promotion if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the promotion as determined by XL Airways in its sole discretion.

This promotion is being conducted exclusively by XL Airways, and none of its affiliates, officers, directors, agents or employees will have any liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with their participation in this promotion or any prizes awarded.

The prize winners shall abide by and be subject to XL Airways' booking terms and conditions, and privacy policy, which are accessible from the www.XL.com website. In the event of any inconsistencies between these terms and conditions and XL Airways' booking terms and conditions and privacy policy, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

All entries to the competition must be accompanied by a valid email address, plus the entrant's full name.

This promotion is open to all residents of the UK, aged 18 and over, except for employees of XL Airways, Cheapflights Ltd or any companies or agencies directly connected with the creation and administration of this promotion of their families. The promoter (Cheapflights Ltd) reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.

Cheapflights Ltd shall be entitled to terminate or modify the promotion or to modify these rules at any time prior to the closing date by publishing any such modification or termination on any Cheapflights Ltd website.

The prize winners may be required to participate in publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion.

In the event of a dispute, the decision of Cheapflights Ltd shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

These terms and conditions are subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

The promoter is XL Airways with its registered office at Mitre Court, Fleming Way, Crawley, West Sussex, England.

We will not pass your email address on to third parties. If you enter the competition, you will receive the Cheapflights.co.uk newsletter. You are free to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time, either via the link at the bottom of each newsletter or on our website. Until you unsubscribe, Cheapflights Ltd will send you its weekly newsletters and special promotion emails. Choosing to also receive email updates from XL Airways is not mandatory to enter the competition.
